Christmas

There's a pelican. A Xmas bird but not the sort they eat around these parts. It's large and waddles like a fat country mayor returning from lunch with property developers. It offers me a picture postcard moment - a splash of imagery in a town of over development, otherwise known as Terrigal. Luckily I'm looking out to sea.
